Shush...

Don't tell the stars I'm watching them.

  1. The stars always know when somebody's watching, JJ. And when your own little star sees you looking up at the sky, it puffs out its chest with pride. 'Look at me,' it says, to all the other stars. 'I'm JJ's star, and she's watching me right now.’ And because your star is so happy and bursting with pride, it shines brighter still. Next time you look at the stars, look out for the one that shines brighter than any other. It’ll be yours.

  2. Ooooh, Mr V - I never realised you were quite such a romantic!

JJ, I hope you have a blanket handy so you can pull it over you just before you fall asleep in your big red chair.

I'm a tough outdoors kinda gal, Patsy. Don't need a blanket, but the furry boots come in handy fer ma cold feet.

  9. Wrong planet, leaves on the track, salt in the pepper pot, flouride in the drinking water...

I saw a few on two nights even though my perch faces the wrong direction and having a couple of floodlights polluting the pitch of the moonless sky!
