BBC

Not that BBC, but this one:

And it stands, or sits ...

... for Bournemouth Borough Council

The south coast has some amazing beaches with Poole and Bournemouth getting 14 good beach awards this year for their bathing water quality. So, me finks, it's another year lazing around on the beach, here in good ol' blighty, with proper fish and chips and real ale. Ahhh... paradise found!

  3. Yup... and proper ice-cream and cakes, just the way I love 'em, Patsy!

Having a somewhat flakey Essex borders background, P, I do know a number of Tracey's, and once worked with a Miss A Boyd, in me student days, but not a Tracey Boyd. Although, me memory isn't what it use to be!

Thanks for taking a look gals, much appreciated :o)

  4. I'm an Essex borders girl at the mo. (Colchester) But it's a Tracey and a Boyd I was asking about. Tracey's my cousin and I always think of her as Tracey Caldwell but I am not sure if she goes by her married name. Any how, I do realise that Bournemouth is a big place and you won't know everybody there (only the coolest dudes)... Thanks for comments on my blog, Px

  6. I love those photos - the one with the chairs at the edge of the sand make me want to don a polka dot bikini and roller skate (skate that is - not blade!) along the path :)

  8. Thanks folks. I tend to hide on me perch, to be honest, and view the world from a distance, for safety purposes only!

I guess I've been hiding away to focus on me dream as a writer, but now the sun has come out, again, I'm finding it hard to stay glued to me screen!

  9. Bournemouth Borough Council? Hmm, that's a shame. I was sure you were gonna tell us those deckchairs had a Big Bum Certificate.
